SONSHINE RANCH FLYING FOX
Swooping through the trees on a huge zipline flying fox is one of our Sonshine Ranch favorites. You get a harness connected to a carabiner and fly across a valley of trees and ferns. You may crash into several trees on the way across and back. But don’t worry, they won’t hurt that much!
PIKELET MAKING
Smelling a golden brown pikelet steaming like the sun on a hot greasy pan was a treat. The delicious pikelets were a delight for the Year 5 on Camp at Sunnyhills Schools. Flipping the drops of sunshine and watching them bubble makes us very hungry. Yummy, squishy, mushy pikelets oozing around our mouths.
Flipping the drops of sunshine? Oh my goodness, amazing use of metaphor.
